I am a 26 year old nursing student writing this blog to let people know what treatment of Hepatitis C involves on a daily basis.

I was diagnosed in 2010 and have most likely had this disease my entire life as a result of blood transfusions received as an infant. I’ve only known about my status for a year now, but I believe my diagnosis has actually enriched my life. I have met some of the strongest, most interesting people I’ve ever known through the Hep C community. I hope that people who have hep and their friends and family members can tap into this source of strength and friendship like I have. To get started, go to http://www.hcvsupport.org. Please feel free to comment and ask questions on this site as well.
